> WHAT IS A DIVINE INCARNATION?

Source: Private archive

A Divine Incarnation is born absolutely pure. Their nature is
unadulterated Divine Consciousness. If we put our attention on Them or any of Their Chakras we should experience complete unbounded and untroubled space of Divine Consciousness and Joy. They are not prone to any thoughts, desires, conditionings or ego. Although They came to exemplify different Divine qualities every one of Them is essentially the same as They are God, and there is only one God. Any of the Divine Incarnations can bestow complete liberation on devotees. If we think there are differences between the Incarnations then we are in illusion; the realisation of the oneness of the whole creation is a higher step.

As we know Shri Ganesha is the essence of the whole system, and is present in all the Chakras. In practical terms this means that the prime quality of all the Incarnations is Innocence, Wisdom, Auspiciousness and complete dedication to the Supreme Devi who is the source of everything even the All- pervading Spirit; She pre-exists any existence. All Incarnations are the Supreme Devi.

This quality of Innocence (from the Latin meaning (without harm‚) is reassuring as we can be confident that if we are surrendered to an Incarnation they cannot harm us in any way, and that if things appear to be going wrong in fact they are for our best interests. The Divine Love is that what is in our best interest is what is for our spiritual ascent, bringing us closer to reality and the experiencing of our true nature as Divine Consciousness. Shri Mataji has indicated recently that we can become completely purified and rise to the level of Divine Incarnations (delusions of grandeur beware, we are not there yet!) However once we have this Divine Consciousness in our awareness we can spread it to the rest of the world.

The Divine Incarnations came alone or in twos or threes and see what they achieved. A few hundred or thousand Yogis who rise to that level should be able to turn things around. We know how good human beings are at subtly altering the essence of religions because to have an organised religion it is necessary to have concepts. A true religion should be a loose association of completely free souls, who feel their oneness asmanifestations of the Divine not from external identifications.
